A Student-Led Initiative
We collect gently-used books from our community and pass them on to students who need them most — because a book that's finished its journey with you could be just starting an important one with someone else.
Book Nook is a student-led initiative built on a simple idea: books that are no longer being read can still change someone's life. We collect second-hand books from our community and get them into the hands of students who could use a little extra support on their learning journey.
Make quality learning resources available to every student, regardless of background.
Give unused books a second life instead of letting them gather dust on a shelf.
Bring students, alumni and staff together around a shared love of learning.
Our flagship 2-week collection drive, running from 14/07/2026. We're gathering gently-used textbooks, storybooks and reference books to pass on to students who need them.
Permanent drop-off bins placed around campus so donating a book is as easy as walking past one. Look out for the Book Nook logo.
Whether it's a textbook you've outgrown or a story you loved as a kid, your donation goes straight to a student who needs it. New or gently used — every book counts.
